Sensor

Sensor for a microcontroller (like Arduino) is like eyes or ears or even a nose for us. Sensors are those devices connected to micro controllers to give them a mathematical representation of the world around them, accordingly a robot can avoid obstacles, or a home automation system can feel gas leak or may be detect flames of a fire or just feel motion and accordingly turn the lights on and off or if the security system is armed and no body should be in the house it might be detecting a burgelary in action.

There are many different types of sensors that can be connected to Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other similar micro-controllers, which allow information to be gathered from the real world environment. This includes physical variables like Temperature, Light, Motion, Position and many others. Enough talking and check out below 🙂
