Firstly, NTC Thermistor Resistor is a special type of resistance that changes values depending on the ambient temperature. Hence, it is the ideal component to use when temperature control is an essential part of your project. Furthermore, you can use it with a wide range of microcontrollers not just Arduino.

To determine the temperature two methods exist, one is using a formula from Steinhart-Hart or also, we can use the equation for the Beta factor.
